RARE 1940's Lilli Ann Wool Bouclé Princess Coat

How to even begin to to describe this amazing 1940's Lilli Ann Coat? Done in a beautiful mottled black and brown wool bouclé and fully lined in copper taffeta. Always the queen of structure and flow, this coat is no exception. Heavy real shell buttons that go up one side of bodice, and then has a fold over bodice that acts as a built in scarf. This coat is a rare version of the 40's Lilli Ann coats. I have only been able to find one done in this wool bouclé and it didn't have the wrap around bodice. Fabric is made in Italy and is weighty and top quality. A true staple piece you can love and wear for years to come!

Measurements are as follows: Fits a medium well but would look good a little oversized too to accommodate layers.

Bust: Meant to be oversized due to wrap- up to 42" but fit me at around a 37” wonderfully. Can adjust wrap how you want. 

Waist: 29" 

Hips: full

Length shoulder to waist: 16"

Length: waist to hem: 29.5"

Condition: Excellent – The piece shows typical, although minor, signs of wear. Outside is in impeccable taste. The lining shows repairs and some small runs as shown in photos. Price adjusted for condition (most of this era range between $1200-$1400!)
